The Mondial Paris Motor Show is an auto show how take place in Paris every two years during the month of October. Two years ago, in 2016 the auto show welcomed around 1 200 000 of visitors.
Big change in 2018, the famous name “Le Mondial de l’Auto” has changed for “Paris Motor Show”
This year, the theme of the show was “the Most beautiful roads of the world” the journalist had the opportunity to discover the show two days before the public. The price goes from 9€ to 18 € for adults.
2018 was the 88th edition of the show but also their 120 years anniversary. In 1898, 77 constructors exposed 232 vehicles.
To celebrate their 120 anniversary the Mondial Paris Motor
Show organized the 30 September an incredible parade in Paris with the most famous models since the creation of the show. Around 200 cars, motorcycles or bicycle did the circuit in Paris.
This year, for 11 days, people had the opportunity to discover everyday cars, prestigious cars and the amazing innovation of new technologies with self-driving cars in which you can sit in.
A lot of innovations were present this year at the show. Some of them were French, but you also had the possibility to see European and Worldwide new concept cars. We count around 60 news cars from the new Aston Martin to the new
Peugeot. However, some Constructors were also absent, like Rolls Royce or Bentley.
This year, the show was different from other, the 2018 Mondial Paris Motor Show had the look worn towards the future.
The Biggest surprise at the show was the presence of Bugatti with the Divo, one of the most famous models of the company. The brand announced their presence at the show a day before its opening. The Divo is a luxury car extremely powerful (1 500 horsepower) for 5 million € available in limited edition (only 40 copies in the world).
2018 Paris Motor show was full of surprise and innovations. We are more than existing to see what 2020 reserves to us.
